Profile

Studio Stödberg was set up in 2008 and has established itself as an architectural studio specializing in private residential work. Based in Notting Hill, we are a design-led team that aims to provide architectural solutions which accommodate the lifestyle and needs of each individual. We strive to create a uniquely personalised service for projects of every kind and size.

Prior to setting up her own practice, Annika worked for Michaelis Boyd Associates (MBA) and Bulthaup, as well as working in Sweden and Austria. Annika has a BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Spatial Design, from Chelsea College of Art & Design.

In 2009, Sophie Hobart joined Studio Stödberg having first met whilst both working at MBA. Prior to joining Sophie also worked for Architects’ BLDA, and HLW. Sophie graduated in BA (Hons) Interior/3d Design from Kingston University, and studied Architecture at The Bartlett, UCL and Milan, Italy. She also holds an MA (Hons) in Politics & Philosophy.

Studio Stodberg offers a complete architectural service starting with finding the perfect property, sketching up a custom layout before producing detailed drawings for tender and onsite project management. We have worked on a wide spectrum of projects ranging from extensions, loft conversions and basements, to large-scale refurbishments of listed properties as well as complete demolitions and new builds.

We aim to bring an innovative, practical and detailed approach to every project and believe that the key is to spend time to understand the client’s aspirations in this collaborative process. It is our ambition to embrace the opportunities that the site holds and seek solutions where conditions can become an advantage rather than an obstruction. Projects primarily come thorough word of mouth, due to the successful collaboration with previous clients.
